Paying taxes as a LEGAL immigrant is like a punishment for following the laws

And immigrating legally.

Only talking about immigrants who have incomes in other countries.

You still get taxed for income sources if you live elsewhere too, and in my case, I have to pay Canada so much more than I have to pay Algeria, even though my market, my job, and the farms are in Algeria.

Algeria exempt me from certain taxes relating to agricultural resources and lot of things. I get so many tax cuts. That doesn't mean Canada will. I still have to pay taxes I am exempt from to Canada. Very duking annoying.

Not even going to discuss how stupid is income tax.

Makes me want to give up my status.

I ended a friendship once because the guy worked in taxes and asked me about my income. >_> You do not ask a jewish lady about the monies she has, anywhere.

I forget who wrote it, but it is still true some 400 years later. "The law is a spider web, which catches the innocent fly and allows the wasp to pass through." Or something like that.
