I think countries not involved in the US vs Canada/Mexico/China/India tariff wars might actually do well

It's conceivably a lot cheaper to reship goods and relabel from a third party country than pay 25% extra

Everyone will do OK long term but America.. They will lose the reserve currency status that is keeping the international value in the $US and lose US banks the commissions on all those transfers of funds the rule require US banks to process.
One could even make the argument that merely threatening tariffs could justify a retaliatory response which will hurt the US more than the other side..By destabilizing trade.😷

Highly unlikely since we live in a global economy. The country you live in will be a trading partner with the US so will be onscreen by the trade tariffs.
It will be easier for them to compete when it's against 1 less trading block, which is why we had NAFTA in the first place
