Is the US really going to just let a whole country be destroyed?

@1490wayb I can't blame anyone for wanting to take care of and put their own people first. That's good. But in modern times with NATO, the UN, HRW, etc. etc. don't you think we may have advanced beyond just letting people die because they're in another country? I find it neglectful at best (I'm refraining from using a stronger word).

I spent 11 months in Kuwait for things not from my continent.

@WintaTheAngle that was in answer to direct attack on american soil...that action was necessary but bush admin over-reached

@WintaTheAngle It's hard for me to answer that question when I can admit I will never join the armed forces. You have. If you're asking for my humble opinion, I appreciate the selfless act of you going somewhere else to protect their innocent ones, even if they're fewer and further between.
