@kodiac Hi Kodiac, Thank you so much for posting this. I just got to my office this morning and watched it. I consider myself a pretty tough dude, but this made me break down and weep. I would love to know where this young fella is today. I'm sure he is a successful young man now.

@DogMan Your very welcome ,people want to argue politics but that's not what memorial day is about . It's about people that fought and died so those same people are able to speak freely even if i don't like what they say.
@kodiac I agree, I don't know why I argue on line. I was hoping I would not find some of these inconsiderate, naïve posts when I came back to town after the weekend. But I did expect it. As you probably read, my dad was a combat riflemen in Italy. He witnessed, and participated in horrible things, things that gave him nightmares off and on for his entire life. He passed away at 84. Luckily, being the stoic man he was, the war did not effect his life, other than in his dreams. I wrote a story about his time during WWII after he passed away. It's based on 2 scrap books that I received, with every letter he wrote to his mom, and all of his military documents. Let me know if you would like to read it, and I will email. It will be the most accurate, and true story about WWII you will ever read. PS. I coerced a lot of stories out of him after I went into the military.
