"Cancel culture" is something people have a hard time being against on principle. It's something you support when your side is doing it and rage against when the other side is doing it.
It would be nice if people could see the government pressuring a company to fire someone for ideological reasons as a problem no matter who is running the government.

@WestonT Agreed. The main point of the First Amendment is being able to express independent ideas without the government interfering.
If the POTUS can use his position to reach out and cause problems because he personally doesn’t like what an individual says, none of us are safe.
