A question for the Republicans on SW.

Can you tell me what happens to the price of a product like a pair of trainers aka Nike, Adidas, Puma etc when Trump puts a tariff on it?

Does the price if that product go ⬆ for American consumers or Down ?

And, that price change good for Americans or bad?

So… I’m still waiting for a Republican to answer my question. I know it’s a struggle guys but come on… have a go..

Nikes are made in western China by slave labor. Since you don’t seem to mind products made by slaves, you will be heartened to know that the Chinese slave owning government is coming down on their tariffs. This was a predictable outcome for people who study economics at the Wharton School like Trump. Propagandists are not likely to share this. I really don’t see how they live with themselves, but dems have been doing this for centuries.
