The Republicans have NOT suggested or implemented ANY "cuts" in legitimate social welfare programs that benefit elderly and other low income programs. Sadly enough-some naive persons are misinformed enough to believe the fallacious lies told to them by House/Senate liberal Democrats and their inherently dishonest allies in the liberal Democrat fake news/legacy media-including-but not limited to-NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR, PBS, CNN, MSNBC. What Trump, Musk, and OTHER Republicans are trying to do is to eliminate the wasteful. fraudulent administrative overhead spending-NOT actual benefits.

@James25 I stand by my contention. To paraphrase the late, great Rush Hudson Limbaugh the 3'rd-I am engaging in a "relentless pursuit of the truth." :)

@cuteblondegreyguy Rush Limbaugh? Are you serious? I am engaging in a Relentless Pursuit of gaslighting. Pun intended.

Here is a question for you.
How can the taxpayers continue to pay for millions of dishonest government employees, wasted money, Ukrainian mansions in Pacific Palisades, and on, and on and, and on!

@MarthannBann888 Implement a marginal tax rate on the wealthy and their corporations. And cut military spending. Instead of cutting needed benefits for the poor to renew tax cuts for the rich.

@James25 I see what you are saying and you are on the right track. There are some problems. Studies show that if you go over 39%. Over that and businesses start failing. Second problem is getting the poor to work. If they don’t, the poor become unable. Working people resent the cheating face of government largess. Also, the rich will just close up and go to low tax entities.
Speaking for the now, I don’t want to give to anyone who calls me a stinky Walmart person anything. The constant nasty remarks have really turned me off.
