Their agenda is to reduce the average intellect and thus ensure ongoing wealth and power for the elites. The Bible is a useful tool because it teaches the masses to accept their suffering in this lifetime. Within this mythology the Jew is always a Christ killer- even though Jesus was killed by pagan Italians who went on to claim Christianity as their rightful domain.

Their agenda is to make sure all students have a very narrow view on life that fits with the white supremacy’s way of thinking.
The far right also have a very low regard for learning in general. If you look at the way the Taliban treats women you can get an idea of what the far right wants to be.
Of course that theory doesn’t work well in times of natural disaster or in business and economics or seek to maintain a healthy economy.

We read Anne Frank's diary in 6th grade. It wasn't a political thing. That must have been 1975 or 1976. It was a different world then.
It was one of the most important books I have encountered. It am blown away to find some of the complaints against it. There are edited and redacted versions for young people. Why people wouldn't want THOSE read is curious...
The Holocaust, Nazis, death, hiding, Anne's sexual stuff aside-- it's an important book for kids as it's a kid's narrative of great hardship. Pretty much anyone can relate to it.
Which I think is why it is banned. It gives kids ease, hope, connection.

But of course this makes it part of the queer agenda.
Which is sort of an interesting thing because there are redacted young people's versions of the diary that are not only edited of such content, but make the diary more readable like a story. So kids could read that and not be exposed to the hard core lesbo porn in Anne Frank's diary.
My view is that if these are the highlights you glean from the text, your soul parts are so rotted as to be unrecognizable.
But of course this makes it part of the queer agenda.

@Spoiledbrat There's a difference between Republican politicians and people who generally vote Republican. The latter usually aren't Fascists, they're just being tricked into voting for Fascists. The former are pretty much all Fascists.

@MsAnnThropy That's why they love homeschooling. Teach their selectively edited bible parts as doctrine. Plus keeping their kids away from "those" people who aren't just like them.
