Republicans are very good at distracting with bullshit, made-up "culture war" issues so that people won't notice the economic problems that continue to degrade the quality of life in this country. They've effectively convinced a large portion of this country that their lives suck because of immigrants and trans youth.

@Changeisgonnacome Yes. Absolutely. All Democrats do is react, which is a losing strategy from the beginning. The Democrats fail at their own messaging and consistently underestimate how effective "they're destroying your way of life" messaging is. Both parties ultimately want little to change.
