Mitch McConnell has shown his true colors.

Those weren't his words. If you're going to quote somebody be honest about what they actually said, don't add your own spin onto it.

@midnightrose The way your "arguments" here are structured, you're a natural.
@Northwest So if somebody tells you maybe or something is a possibility you think that means yes or an affirmative that they will do that thing? Or is it just in this case? I'm not the one putting additional words into what somebody else spoke. You can say his words mean something else but those are your thoughts of his words, not his words. I would think you could understand that.

He's one of the scummmiest of the scummiest. An ideologue looking to tear down America. But he didn't say they will "outlaw all abortions in the U.S., period." He said it was possible. And he's correct.

It would need 60 votes in the Senate and that's not on the table now. But it could be in the future if people don't VOTE to make sure it doesn't happen. Personally, I think he handed the Democrats a talking point that they should drive down the throats of those too busy to take five minutes to vote.

The party of:
"Freedom and Liberty for us, Law and Order for them."
"Everything is morally permited... as long as WE do it."
I thought banning things dont work? 🤔
@MsAnnThropy The Republican Party intends to try it.
@MsAnnThropy I know it's ironic they're the first people to shout at you that your policy proposal is a terrible idea because bans don't work and then immediately turn around and try to ban abortion.
@midnightrose I think the mindless nonsense in this is that American life will ever look like for women that is done in Afghanistan... That's where I draw my line. (And I'm very pro-choice)

To be fair , he showed them a long time ago.

Now you've got a SC packed with religious extremists , and a Republican Party in thrall to a authoritarian madman , and answerable only to a bunch of anti-democratic and overtly racist fanatics ....... where exactly does this madness end ?

No one is going to ban abortion. Even as a pro-lifer, I know that will never happen. This is being leveraged as a way for the democrats to keep voters, despite all that is going wrong for them right now.

All the decision does is put it back into the hands of the state. The justices are saying that it's not really a federal decision, and that it should be made at the state level.

If anything, it forces a discussion about what abortion really is and what lines should be drawn.

Was anyone naïve enough to think he was any different?
Oh so they want to be shot then.

His true colors are just like the colors of what every Politician is after most and that is the Color of Money.
There's a few out the that actually cares about what is happening within the USA today, but they're just a handful.
@dakotaviper I rarely find myself in complete agreement with you, but this is one of those times.
