Someone said, rednecks and Republicans are just another name for racists. Your thoughts?

Definitely, where I come from, the word redneck has always meant a racist -- has never had any other meaning.

However, the word Republican doesn't necessarily equate with racism. Many conservatives and religious people believe that all humans have the right to be treated as equal. That said, a significant proportion of the hard-right tend to be white supremacists.
