I Am a Republican

I'm a Republican living in a blue state, save me! Everyone I know, especially my age, is like a socialist. I am a Republican who leans libertarian, please give me some actually stimulating conversation with people with good ideas lol

socialism is a term too loosely thrown around. equality and having a social safety net are invaluable. especially now that I near the age when I cant do everything I once was able to.

Oh for sure, there are no truly 100% capitalist or socialist economies... I support Medicare and Social Security (socialist programs) and the police and military (also technically socialist) but we have too many college grads and now we're talking about making college free. The only solution the democratic party has isn't to manipulate markets cleverly to make something work, but instead to just have the government come in and make it free. Not having a debate here, so I won't respond. that's just my thoughts on it @Jordan420
