The GOP Senate

Ripped up the proposal Schumer drafted, saying it was a "non-starter".

Schumer's proposal allowed the ACA, the healthcare republican voters want, to continue for another year.

The GOP said that this was not an issue they felt was important.

Meanwhile, republican voters are facing premiums in the $1,000's.

So when all you republicans scream that the Democrats are keeping the government closed, remember:

Your party said it was a non-starter and that healthcare provided in the ACA is not an important issue to them.

This is a Republican close of government and they are not just keeping it closed by refusing to negotiate, they don't want their voters to have affordable healthcare.

SCOTUS just released their decision, the admin. May continue to refuse to distribute SNAP

@samueltyler2 I’m monitoring for now, they actually sent it directly back to the District 1 appeals court for a binding decision, it is not a final SCOTUS ruling.

@AbstractWave just guess how long before any real decision is made, delay really hurts kids. I don't trust SCOTUS to have the courage to do what is right.

@samueltyler2 I know what you mean, and hopefully this will get a quick positive and final decision by the appeals court, and SCOTUS will refuse to take it up again. 🤞

@AbstractWave they won't do something that obvious, they will temporize again.
