Yeah, don't argue at all, don't reevaluate your positions. Just preach to others and never engage or come to new insights. Confronting your believes might be a negative experience, and who wants negative experiences? Just stay on the same level for the rest of your life and feel good about yourself. Because ignorance is bliss.

@Oberon1 You don't have to bring big names into the conversation. It's just a consequence of your attitude. You treat everything as just "an opinion", and everyon apperently has the right to hold these hollow things and everyone else just has to live with it. This absolves people from getting better in their reasoning, because everything is fair game and equal. This dumb idea looses all power the moment we are going to talk about what descisions have to be made and which "opinions" we are going to use to make these descisions. At that point, you elevate your opinion as the right one. But people shouldn't argue over that opinion, because that would generate a negative experience for you because it would mean you have to think about what you are actually saying.

Everyone has just an opinion, suddenly becomes authoritarian when it's your opinion. And you personally don't have the time to discuss what you hold to be true, because that would be an "emotional" investment, in other words... it could generate a negative emotional experience. So we all just have to accept them and move on with our lives so you can have your little safe space where you can conjur up these grand opinions that are equal to all other opinions (for the sake of sheltering them from scrutiny) untill descisions have to be made.
