Hey people who are old enough to remember these ads in the back of comic books,

did you ever send away for X-Ray Glasses? The ones where the ad had the picture of the guy looking through the girl's clothing?

What if anything did they actually do??

I never bought anything like that, but I remember the ads.
My sister bought the "sea monkeys" and received a bag of brine shrimp ! 😅

Were they alive? I'm sure they didn't look anything like the humanoid creatures in the pictures in the ad!

@ServantOfTheGoddess They were alive, basically. But they were nothing at all like what was expected I don’t remember how they lasted, but it wasn’t that long.

@bijouxbroussard It's so weird when I think about it. What genius had the idea of packaging shrimp and shipping them to kids under the pretence of being interesting monkey-like pets? The mind boggles.
