My dad just found a shilling from 1950 in the coins he's saved up throughout the years

What's it worth? Are we rich now?

Don't talk to me, I'm booking a one-way flight to somewhere where there's no food that hasn't been blessed by a Michelin star chef and I'm drafting my memoir titled "From Broke to Ballin': The two-shilling story."

Update: My financial advisor (Google) says a two shilling coin is only worth 10 pence but I think he's just jealous. #richlife #blessed #hustleculture #grind

At least I got excited for 2 seconds🫩

My mother had a bank note predating Canadian confederacyu, when it was called the Dominion of Canada. I wish I could find that.
@JimboSaturn apparently the coins just a year before this one had " Fid Def Ind Imp." on it which stands for "Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India" in Latin. which is interesting

@JimboSaturn Yeah, 200 years of colonization deserves at least one shout out on a coin
