My dad just found a shilling from 1950 in the coins he's saved up throughout the years

What's it worth? Are we rich now?

Don't talk to me, I'm booking a one-way flight to somewhere where there's no food that hasn't been blessed by a Michelin star chef and I'm drafting my memoir titled "From Broke to Ballin': The two-shilling story."

Update: My financial advisor (Google) says a two shilling coin is only worth 10 pence but I think he's just jealous. #richlife #blessed #hustleculture #grind

At least I got excited for 2 seconds🫩

I have a collection of virtually all coins I ever owned fron 1975 and prior because I'm weird and I figure someday I can give them to my great grandkids to make them rich or at least interesting.
@SinlessOnslaught that's pretty cool actually
@HijabaDabbaDoo I don't tell anybody because they would just laugh and say I need to spend it.
@SinlessOnslaught that's lame, keeping old collections is cool way of having time stay still in a world that's still moving
@HijabaDabbaDoo tbh I don't even know where the collection is. I could find it. I know there are some wheat pennies in there, at least one of them is "silver".
@SinlessOnslaught have you ever seen the movie you wish? I'm suddenly reminded of that. Not that it revolves entirely on coin collections but it's a cute movie
@HijabaDabbaDoo I just watched the trailer, it does look cute
