I've just listened to Beethoven's Choral symphony. It was such a joyful piece of music, it's actually made me fill up. I've fallen in love with this music.

Beethoven gives me unpleasant flashbacks from youth orchestra, lol
@NativeOregonian I played a couple of different ones during my time there. Violin is my main one, but I also played the harp, hammered dulcimer, and alto/tenor sax. Sometimes piano if our pianist couldn't make it.
@SW-User I wanted to learn the violin so bad when I was eight, but we could not afford the tuition to Suzuki :(

@SW-User Bach does that to me for the same reason

@helenS I don't hate his music, it just feels uninspired, honestly. And it only gets worse when you play his shit on the daily.

@NativeOregonian Yeah, I didn't go to a private instructor at first. I was taught in a group for free after school. Some time afterwards, I started receiving private lessons paid for by the conductor of our orchestra, haha. I was a poor ass bitch.

@SW-User Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Bach, either. His music is kind of off-putting to me. My least favourite is Vivaldi, though, oh my lord. He basically wrote the same concerto 500 times. The man invented repetitive sequences. Also, baroque is garbage, so there's that.
