Supertramp is underrated

Supertramp, the unsung heroes of rock, have been quietly crafting sonic masterpieces while the world was distracted by more flashy acts. Their music? As hidden as Waldo in a candy cane factory. With tracks like "Breakfast in America" and "Take the Long Way Home," they've been delivering musical gold while we were busy chasing fool's gold. So, let's give credit where it's due - Supertramp is like that secret ingredient in your grandma's famous recipe, making the rock 'n' roll stew unforgettable, and it's high time they got their standing ovation!

I walked out on a girl who was interested in me in college when she prepared to put on a Supertramp album. I ended up with punkrock Cori a few doors down the hall...which turned out to be a very bad decision for both of us.But her record collection was badass and she made her own chainmail.

Perhaps someday I'll remember that other polite girl's name and we'll chuckle at life's ironies and merge bank accounts and get a Golden Retriever puppy.
That's most of my recollections of the group, other than my little brother and I loved singing along to 'take the long way home' and therefore I will always love it and yes, naturally I bought a copy in the ensuing years. I do appreciate your appreciation of them ! Just ain't my cup of mud.
