I love smoking opium. Been years but I can still remember that feeling.

@2cool4school i like the song and moonspell but i never participated in a drug before so i dunno
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin it’s a lot like very strong hash or kief or cannabis but with a heavier body high and more euphoria.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin you lose track of hours of time.
Best to have a minder as it’s possible and easy to overindulge and stop breathing.

@2cool4school ive not done any of that i have nothing to compare it to.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin hmm 🤔 well don’t start drugs are bad. I feel lucky that I don’t have an addictive nature but I’m very grateful for being able to experiment and experience what I have.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin my only true vice is adrenaline and I recognize that now. It’s responsible for wrecking my body and my life more than anything else.
Arorin · M
@2cool4school so i am told, but between farming, military, and now a hospital its been pretty lockdown with the possibility of drug test and all. Even the union drug test.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin you have a stable life and lifestyle and that is definitely not a bad thing.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin military friends I have usually drink a TON but they have gotten into more and it’s lead to trouble.
Arorin · M
@2cool4school not really at all. I mean mom was a crazy alcoholic who kicked me out when i was 7 and i fought al lot growing up, not to mention goning to war 3 times, and im down in the OR so people do get crazy. I guess i have enough crazy without an added substance. I do like coffee though thats my big one.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin I was actually in Oregon when I came into contact with the most substances I’ve ever had access to. Eugene to be precise. I only use coffee when I absolutely need it. For driving most often.
I do believe that when you see the negative sides of substance abuse that polarizes you for life and you don’t want to be anything like that in your life.

@Arorin oh OR. Operating Room duh. Lol
Arorin · M
@2cool4school Im familar with Eugene we pass through it a lot to get to places. Im eastern WA lots of drugs here too. Meth is all around me and i see people shadow boxing the air having fights with shadows etc
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin that’s one substance that I never tried never wanted to try and really never was even around it but yeah I have seen what it does to people when I’ve been on midnight cycling rides through the cities. I don’t particularly like stimulants or alcohol.
Eastern Wa is a very different part of the PNW than the more typical areas of the cities and towns. I almost went to college at Gonzaga and I doubt I would have lasted even the 2 years I did in Eugene

@2cool4school i for the life of me dont know how people get into meth. There is so much evidence of hair loss, teeth, sanity etc... a 20 year old looking 70. Like of all the highs someone can chase why go to that one?
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin idk I’m guessing that it’s so powerfully addictive and people must lie to themselves that they don’t do it that much until it’s taken away too much to hide and then they figure why stop ?
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin the psychosis has supposedly gotten worse with this p2p type of meth vs pseudoephedrine type.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin fentanyl isn’t much better either and now it’s showing up in everything. I’ve seen stories of cops overdosing fatally from fentanyl when they were expecting to do coke which is a very bad idea anyway especially if your job is supposed to be to keep people safe enforcement of laws etc.
Arorin · M
@2cool4school but why take that first hit when we can see the physical side effects? Most people want to be beautiful not ugly and we know this drug will make us ugly.
Arorin · M
@2cool4school on the other spectrum fentanyl is used everyday harmlessly in the medical world. Whatever street fentanyl is crafted from is conpletely different and killing 70,000 a year
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin oh trust me I know all too well. I’m wearing 2 fentanyl patches as I type. I broke my L-5 4 times in 4 consecutive winters and I burst the disc in between L-5 and S-1. I have a fusion between L-4/L-5/S-1 and I just recently found out that I broke it loose as well as collapsed and lost every remaining disc in my lumbar region and now I need to get an anterior fusion of my lumbar remove the old fusion and if I have the bone density I can get a disc replacement above L-1 to T-12. I’m so devastated that I damaged myself further after it took me 7 years not 2 as predicted to get my independence and my mountain activities that are my passions back. I don’t even know what I’ll be able to do with that much titanium in me. And my chronic pain syndrome is significantly worse and I’m going to have to add oral fentanyl back into the regime instead of the liquid oxy I was able to transition down to. I have a very familiar relationship with fentanyl and fortunately I’m only physically dependent and have never shown addiction in over 17 years of off and mostly on pain medication.
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Arorin the street stuff is supposedly coming from China in industrial quantities to Mexico and getting mixed into all kinds of the US drug supply.
Arorin · M
@2cool4school Titanium is strong and light right? I hope you recover quickly.
I saw a documentary of it coming from mexico. That all the best cooks go their to cook and it gets smuggled back here. Basically its just like breaking bad and the blue stuff is the best stuff?

@Arorin very strong and very light. I have some on my right clavicle as well as the fusion in my lower lumbar but it’s not attached as it should be anymore. I’m not sure if I’m going to notice the added weight but the loss of flexibility and mobility is already noticeable with a 2 level fusion it’s about 15% so added fusion in the entire lumbar spine is going to be significant enough that I may not be able to sit on a bike saddle or snowboard but I’m not really able to do that now and I’m far beyond just uncomfortable. Thank you 🙏
Arorin · M
@2cool4school there is no possibility of getting flexibility back?
