Beethoven's second piano concerto absolutely does something to me that I cannot explain.

Inject it in my veins.

Is that the one that the guy in "A Clockwork Orange" listened to all the time?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@graphite Good guess! It's funny you say that cos I was watching that movie last night. But no, the piece Alex listens to multiple times throughout the movie is Beethoven's ninth symphony. And the classical piece which plays as background music in several important scenes is actually Rossini's overture for the Thieving Magpie opera.

Yeah good choice.

My favorite injectable piece is philip glass violin concerto 2nd movement
And this is why I follow your posts.

@LvChris Is that a Lou Bega reference?

I also never understood why classical music is considered "highbrow" or "classy." It makes me think my time in music academy and none of us were the least bit classy.
