Why is there a "night life?"

I believe i might understand what you are asking. Night life is anything that you do outside of work, in order to have fun at niight. The vibe just feels different when the sun goes dwn and the stars are out. Mostly consisting of having drinks, socializing etc..and you aren't living your life like you should because you probably aren't doing anything meaningful outside of work during the day. You have to do something fun, meaningful, or enjoyable in order to make it a lasting memory. I don't drink but i would go to night clubs, sports bars etc.to listen to music or shoot pool and just hang with people.
