Pray for Texas

Please pray for the state of Texas. For the families whose precious children were murdered. For the families of the 2 teachers. For the first responders. For the kids whose lives will remain forever changed. For the medical personnel that are treating more innocent victims of this heinous crime that was commited by a punk. An evil POS that posted on Instagram a couple of hours before "kids be scared."
Now it's your turn to be scared Salvador Ramos. You paved your way to Hell. May your journey be swift.

I'm also praying for swift passage of strict gun laws so we can prevent the NEXT mass school shooting.

@ElwoodBlues let's say you banned all guns tomorrow... would that prevent mass shootings? how?

NO! I never said anything about "ban all guns." That's the lying strawman you guys always bring up!! I said "swift passage of strict gun laws." Please leave your straw man fallacies home; they have no place here.

How would strict gun laws work? Ask Britain & Europe - mass killings are VERY rare there. Ask Australia - their gun laws after a 1996 mass shooting greatly reduced gun violence:
Results: In the 18 years before the gun law reforms, there were 13 mass shootings in Australia, and none in the 10.5 years afterwards. Declines in firearm-related deaths before the law reforms accelerated after the reforms for total firearm deaths (p=0.04), firearm suicides (p=0.007) and firearm homicides (p=0.15), but not for the smallest category of unintentional firearm deaths, which increased. No evidence of substitution effect for suicides or homicides was observed. The rates per 100 000 of total firearm deaths, firearm homicides and firearm suicides all at least doubled their existing rates of decline after the revised gun laws.
@ElwoodBlues it's not a lie at all, it's a hypothetical question. yes, you said 'swift passage of strict gun laws'... what could be more strict than banning guns altogether?
