Dolly Parton remains in good spirits amid her ongoing health issues, which forced her to cancel a string of concerts last year to undergo medical treatment.
The country music legend, 80, who has previously opened up about her chronic kidney stones, shared an update with fans in a new video shared Monday on social media.
“The good news is that I’m responding really well to meds and treatments, and I’m improving every day,” Parton revealed. “Now, the bad news is, it’s gonna take me a little while before I’m up to stage-performance level, because some of the meds and treatments make me a little bit swimmy-headed.”
In her signature light-hearted tone, she joked: “And of course, I can’t be dizzy carrying around banjos, guitars and such on five-inch heels — and you know that I’m going to be wearing them!
“Not to mention all those heavy rhinestone outfits, the big hair and my — uh — big personality,” Parton said, glancing down at her chest. AOL

She's stated she's dealing with digestive and immune system issues. She's 80, so it's not surprising her health is not robust.
