You should visit the Samaritaine department store in Paris

I love the grand architecture of older department stores , c1900, but most are long gone. Not viable in today’s market here, and no one would see build one now. Still great monuments to the pre disposable consumerism era.

We were shopping in Paris at thecstart of the Christmas season. It was amazing!
