is nyc citizens stupid

Just 24 years ago 2 planes were flown into the tallest buildings in the city and killed thousands of people while the world watched on tv. I dont remember this but I heard the story from my mom enough as she told me how our neighbor came running into the apt as she was getting me ready for daycare so she could go to class. She told my mom to turn the tv on as she watched the 2nd plane hit the south tower. So now 24 years later NYC has seemed to forgotten the worse terrorist attack in US history and elected a muslim as Mayor. Have these idiots lost what is left of their mind. Just because he promises free stuff? but than free stuff is what the liberals are all about.

He promised FREE to citizens
He promised to tax the ultra rich which the people think will work
Free doesn't work because somebody has to pay for it
He can't raise taxes irrigardless of what he says

@pdockal And what you cited is not YET baggage... making promises, even if you can't deliver them or don't even plan on attempting to deliver them, is an advantage, see Donald J Trump as another example of this.

That's not baggage, at least not until you fail to do it, then maybe it's baggage...

But compare that to Andrew Cuomo or Eric Adams, and yes, he quite clearly has least baggage, they have a freaking ton of established baggage...

I'm not saying they're right, but it is what it is, the voters don't wanted to try something new instead of going the same old guys that haven't work...

It's what's in right now, get rid of the old guard and try something new....
