Isn’t the name “New York” weird when you think about it? It’s the city of York in England, but new😂

Also, York is a pretty insignificant city, you would think they’d name it New London or new Paris…

There's a hamlet called New York in Lincolnshire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York,_Lincolnshire

The one in the US could be named after that. ;)
