The RMT know this. They know that London cannot function without them, so they demand and get disproportionately huge salaries, massive amounts of paid leave, and flexible hours as and when they want because .

Then, when they've had their fill, and are feeling aggrieved that it's taking too long to pay off their second homes, and that they have only had five holidays this year, they strike.
