What is Your Favorite City to Visit?

i have been all over the world but i can say hands down, my favorite city is London. I know you British people might not like it, but i feel at home there. I have been 3 times and would go again in a heartbeat. You never get bored and there is always something interesting going on.

I also love Budapest and Prague

London is beautiful but a bit crowded for my taste …

I love Barcelona, Spain and Florence, Italy

@Soossie I am going to Switzerland for a week. I am surprising a classmate in Zermatt then flying out of Milan 2 days later. I want to see the Last Supper painting.
@akindheart

Switzerland is a bordering neighbor to Milan…

Uh!! You will feel amazed by the beauty of it when you will visit Santa Maria delle Grazie…. Enjoy

Did you know that this is the only painting of the last supper in which the artist has not painted Judas on the other side of the table?? In this by Leonardo da Vincci, Judas is at the same side of the table as Jesus is …

Did you know there’s a psychological syndrome called Florence Syndrome which is a psychosomatic condition involving rapid heartbeat, fainting, confusion, and even hallucinations, allegedly occurring when individuals become exposed to objects, artworks, or phenomena of great beauty and antiquity??

They gave the name : “Florence Syndrome” to it because so many tourists get some of those conditions when they visit Florence and the beauty of it…
@Soossie
Thanks for sharing. I didn’t know that.

I can imagine what you’re describing here. Though I didn’t get any hallucinations, I was literally speechless when I first saw the Doumo. I was standing outside, staring.
@CookieCrumbs
