Room service at a Vegas hotel ain’t cheap!

I had fish and chips delivered from the kitchen downstairs. Not bad…two good size pieces of nicely battered and fried haddock with a good portion of potato wedges. But as good as it was, I have a hard time justifying the $38 total price for what you can get for $15 at H. Salt in Cali.

Room service in Vegas? You crazy? It’s a 24/7 town, you can go get dinner at anytime.

@Quetzalcoatlus Yeah, but taking the parking fee into consideration, it seemed worth it to just get high and wait for room service 😂

@Zaphod42 Chinatown in Vegas is the shit! Lots of late night ramen/sushi and Korean bbq places.

I'm rarely impressed by expensive restaurants or hotels unless it's the breakfast buffé. They're very greedy. You should be happy it was enough food for one person on the plate and not just little islands of tastes.
Enjoy yourself, money shouldn’t matter when you’re on vacation. That’s what I tell myself 😅

@TurtleEclipseOfTheHeart It’s not a vacation. My GF wanted company and a chauffeur on a work trip 😂
@Zaphod42 well damn then. Nvm 😅 There’s other places you should’ve ate at

@TurtleEclipseOfTheHeart Yeah, but every time I leave the parking garage it’s $18, so on balance it seemed worth it just to take a weed gummy and wait for room service 😂

Sounds like robbery to me
Did you see the liquor prices per bottle? When I was doing security at Caesars Palace in 2006, a fifth of Jack was $150 for room service. When my older brother came out in 2010 he stayed at the Stratoshphere, a bacon cheseburger was $45.

@NativePortlander1970 Damn! Makes me happy I don’t drink more than one or two drinks a year!
@Zaphod42 Indeed
@Zaphod42 Bottle service at the nightclubs can run $1,500, or more, for just one bottle of Brut "champagne".
