@496sbc The day got up to 50 degrees so it didn't stay around, but they got a dusting. The kids got to see snow for the first time.

@496sbc Oh I definitely drag raced. I've had four cars over the years. The fastest ran Super Pro.

@Musicman id love to run super comp or super gas.

@496sbc It is a ton of fun. The only down part is during the summer when it's hot out you have to wear the protective gear and the windows are all bolted in place. There is zero airflow in the car.

@Musicman i know. i actually came up with an idea to / to take the power steering out of play by usinf an Ac clutch

@496sbc My car didn't have power steering. Anything extra from the car had been removed including the inner layer of metal from the doors and trunk lid. There was an electric motor installed to run the water pump. There was absolutely no drag on the engine itself. It was nice though because after a run you could let the water pump run to help cook the motor for the next pass.

@Musicman yeah the elc water pumps are nice u can leave a pe steering on and that and free up 50 hp easy but u were going for weight i know

@496sbc Yes. The radio, heater core windshield wipers and motor were all removed along with all the seats, carpet and inner door panels. All the interior had was the drivers seat and the roll cage.

@Musicman wow. u know i always wanted to have a motor on a carry dolly. nk steering no anything just hit the gas and go lol.

@Musicman hahahah. u know what would be funny to. 1 st gear is forward 2nd is back ward and 3 is forward and 4th is backwards lol change the other guys gear back to do that u could walk to the lights
