NAACP-Absolutely Ridiculous Statement

@akindheart It probably hasn't gone down to the individual folks, but maybe its about the NAACP standing up....although it won't look good if everyone ignores it. A few years ago, they moved the baseball all star game out of Atlanta because the state of Georgia did....something. I didn't like that. Baseball is a game, and the people of Atlanta shouldn't be punished for other peoples' voting.

@originnone exactly. i think that we need to get all of the facts. Take for instance, The Don't Say Gay law. that isNOT what that is about. it is about not allowing children to be exposed to that in school. Take the Disney debacle. they are clearly in violation of child predator situations. They are also not paying their fair share of taxes. they are trying to act like they are the Vatican. they are not independent. they need to be held responsible. People are going to believe what fits their narrative.

@akindheart I was catholic my whole life even through the predatory issues. But the way the church tried to hide everything finished me. I just can't be a part of it anymore.

@originnone i have to agree. i think there is a lot more going on at the Vatican that we will never know. it is not about religion anymore

@akindheart My wife and I were very close to our parish priest for many years....we found out what he had done after he died....all covered up....

@akindheart You know....ten years after his death...kind of lost his impact...but the wonderful Vatican didn't see fit to address it.

@originnone it was a bigger issue. you believed in the priest and the church. that changed everything
