My grandmother used to live on the south side with my cousin and said she would hear gunshots every night. That was in the 80s. Today the mayor is defending crime while everyday regular people are thanking Trumps troops on the street for clearing out crime.
@PatKirby The South and West sides are awful. You can't even drive through those areas. I feel bad for the people who are essentially stuck living in those areas while the mayor and governor don't care in the least. And even the near north side is becoming dangerous. And that is a very expensive area just off Navy Pier.
