Winter in Chicago is brutal, with the lake effect snow. We drove through there once, in a blizzard. Cars had gone off the road almost every 20 or 30 feet. We were driving a van carrying my brother's entire inventory of silver plated flatware, which...God bless us...weighted down the van so much that we did NOT slide!

@4meAndyou I like cold places. Not very much but still working in cold atmosphere is amazing. And Christmas demands snow. I am glad you made it safe

@DanielsASJ Chicago is called "The Windy City"...which means that the horrible icy cold sleety snow from the Lake Effect blows against you at speeds that are dangerous...and it is not possible to stay outside for more than a few minutes.
