@SW-User There was another candidate that was close. His name was Paul Vallas. He's one of these perennial candidates. Always trying to get elected to something. But...he was WAY more of a centrist than the current mayor. And that's why he didn't get elected. Leftists love crazy because that's what they are.

@carpediem I remember that name, and thinking that maybe just maybe he might get elected, but no cigar.

I'll go to my grave wondering what in the hell could any voter be thinking when they vote repeatedly for their own detrimental fate and loss of the quality of life as a whole.

I'll never be able to understand what they are after. Sad.
