Hahahahahaha! I've had multiple job offers paying $160k+ in Cali. I did comprehensive number crunching on cost of living. The fact is, I have more net income on the east coast making 120k, than I would in Cali making 160k.

I've done the research, multiple times. They were very attractive job offers. I turned them down every time.
