@Brookie101 I'm one of those Coastal liberals Conservatives bitch about all the time. You know, like how most of the population in america lives within 100 miles of the coast. Why shouldn't we get to make the majority of the decisions? We ARE The majority. In either event I love the west coast because it's so progressive compared to the the east. I've lived on both sides and they're very culturally distinct and different but the west coast is more refined and sophisticated. <3 liberals. We're also more literate. We love to read. I live in oregon.

@PDXNative1986 very neat. I'm not a political person but the west is more culturally diverse, which is one of the many things I love about it. Just everything about it is beautiful.

@Brookie101 Oregon has a very racist history, Not a lot of black people live here because they were barred from settling here up into the early 1900s. We're a very WHITE place up in Portland but very Progressive. It's very confusing how it can be so racist and so progressive at the same time. We do get a lot of Asians though. Because we're closer to Asia than Europe on this side. I freaking hate Racism. I find it really outdated and primitive.

@PDXNative1986 yeah, I agree. Being rude towards someone simply because of the color of their skin is never a nice thing to do. It doesn't make them a better person, regardless of who they are or you are. The only thing you can really do is be an example and treat everyone with love and respect, and hopefully enough people will follow to make things better♥️
