@SomeMichGuy Yes. Well observed thats exactly right. I had to check then and i live here 😆 edit the spot you are on is central Royal parade. Which is the long road on the black and white pic. Looking down armada way in the modern pic looking south to southwest
@SomeMichGuy Thank you. The black and white one i took whilst in town the other day. I live a stone throw away. Well ok a rifle shot away 😄 The other one i screenshot to show a comparison. I should have got a similar angled modern one tbf.
@Perry1968 It looks as though they've made Armada Way into a more interesting place, with that park/etc. at the end of the street (there in the center lower foreground) and more of a boulevard / parking / walking & recreation area along it.
@SomeMichGuy Yes its been stuck to the shop window ever since. And yes Armada way just had a revamp. The town centre armada way. Fully pedestrianised and Cornwall st. New george street etc partly.
