Issaquah, Wa is nestled right at the base of the Cascade Mountains with mountain views, trails, retail shops, etc

Just down the steet from where I live you can watch the paragliders

Issaquah is about 17 miles from Seattle

We have a fish hatchery in the middle of town, every year the first week of October is Salmon Days when the salmon return to spawn

Issaquah is a recreational town with plenty of places to hike

We have a zoo here too

Costco's headquarters is here. I've walked around that lake many times

And Gilman Village, a cute area with gift shops and restaurants, etc. I frequently go to a Victorian tea room there, (Paisley Parlor)!

Just over a hours drive to the city. Love that

I see bears, moose, deer, eagles and other wildlife daily. Love that

Most of our food comes from my land. We don't depend on a grocery store like everyone else. Love that

Like we make firewood almost everyday other day of the year. That's our number one chore is making sure we have enough firewood to last though a northern Wisconsin winter

Then making sure we have ways to live like they did in the 1800s when shit hits the fan.

Like loosing electricity in the middle of winter and theres no gasoline for the generators to heat the house or electric to power the pumps for water.
