Have You Ever Explored Underground Tunnels In Your City?

The boy is 15 and has a friend who lives near a tunnel entrance. He invited him & several other boys over this afternoon to go explore the tunnel. The boy brought his headlamp and wore it so they made him lead the way since he had a better view of what was there & had to tell the rest what it was. The other boys had the flashlights on their cell phones. They walked over a mile to the business district…with a drive-in restaurant, got drinks, walked to a 7-11 & a grocery store. Bought drinks, bottled water and for some reason the boy was craving Romaine lettuce so he bought a large container of it and all the other boys tried it and they finished it off. I asked him what was in the tunnel, he said they saw what looked like abandoned mattresses like some homeless might have been camping in it, a door off of a Porta-Potty, a lot of spray-paint graffiti….and they nearly went into a large nest of spiders. Sounds like he had a lot of fun. He headed straight to the shower when he got home before he would sit down and eat dinner.

There was a cave that was rumoured to be apart of an underground cave system that ran underneath the Suburb of the town I grew up in. - Climb down a cliff, monkey along, wait for low tide, may need to hold your breath for a few metres before you get it there. - And since we had watched 'The Goonies' we thought we might get an adventure of our own. The tide was too high and my older brother said lets climb the cliff to the top. It was all jaggered sharp sandstone. I almost got near the top and fell. Don't worry the sharp stone broke my fall. Made it home covered in blood and told mum and dad I'd fallen off my bike.
A couple of other kids tried and was caught in there by the high tide and spent half the day waiting it out. So the council caved in the entrance to stop anyone from going in there again.

@Thevy29 caves can be really dangerous if they go a long distance like a tunnel
