A trip to the city today.

@2cool4school Of course you do have to stand there. The steps are moving and trying to get ahead of them will see an accident for sure, We never has escalators in Tasmania when I grewed up so never leant how to use them safely.
I consider the safest method is to stand still. 🙂

@Gusman you just use them like regular stairs or not but I don’t see what Tasmania has to do with it??

@Gusman it’s your choice and I’m sure most people would agree I don’t always factor safety into my life decisions both big and small. I’m just saying that if the steps are moving as is the handrails you can take them just like a stationary set of stairs and get to the end/top/bottom even faster. I do it just for the added exercise personally but that’s just me and I think everyone should do what they feel most comfortable with. So doing them as you want is best but doesn’t mean that it’s the only way. I am jealous that you got to grow up in Tasmania as I know kiwis and Aussies but I rarely meet Tazzies.
