Supposedly my city is notoriously dangerous but I don't see it.

There are abandoned houses and the occasional person who makes you uncomfortable but for the most part, people are friendly, say hi when passing, say hi to the cops, I don't sense racial tension, nothing like that. Yesterday I spent 9 hours working in the most "dangerous" streets and I'm still alive. Just had to keep my truck locked.

I won't reveal where I'm from but... just because people SAY a city is notoriously bad, does that actually mean it's bad? Lol
