1 corinthians 11-16

I'm really interested in this verse because different people have different convictions. I have personally worn a head covering in the past and I struggled with this due to being a migraine sufferer. I now read it that the hair itself is a covering. I am also pondering on the part where hair cutting is mentioned. I am in the process of deciding whether I should have uncut hair. I'm really interested in other christians opinions on this verse and about your own convictions.

if "hair itself is a covering" then verse 6 uncovered means no hair but says to cut! so must add to hair.
but teachers have a different excuse lady can bare hair like men.
