1 corinthians 11-16

I'm really interested in this verse because different people have different convictions. I have personally worn a head covering in the past and I struggled with this due to being a migraine sufferer. I now read it that the hair itself is a covering. I am also pondering on the part where hair cutting is mentioned. I am in the process of deciding whether I should have uncut hair. I'm really interested in other christians opinions on this verse and about your own convictions.

Men getting all excited about sexualising women, creating absurd taboos so that they can be cruel towards vulnerable people (young people and women) that do not comply with their sick rules.

@EarthlingWise I think women are more than capable of making their own choices regarding their body and their beliefs. I don't see the scripture as sexualizing women either. I think it encourages women to look feminine is all. Also the question was aimed at other believers which you are obviously not.
@RubiesandButterflies I can read books. They are human creations, so I can comment on anything written. And as a woman I won't pretend there is no social issue here. There is a thing called willing servitude. Humans relinquish their freedom in exchange for supposed safety.
