IF YOU THINK YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE, READ THIS!
Friends, there is something on my heart today that I want everyone to hear, especially anyone who has ever felt unworthy, unwanted, or even believed they don’t deserve to live.
PLEASE HEAR ME. YOUR LIFE MATTERS!
You do not have to be perfect to be loved by God. You do not have to earn His love, work your way into His favor, or live in constant fear that you are not good enough for Him. Jesus already knows everything about you, including your failures, your struggles, your regrets, and the things you may be ashamed to tell anyone else. And still, He invites you to come to Him!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16 (KJV)
Notice those words: GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD! His invitation is not limited to those who believe they have earned His favor. Jesus came to save sinners, not to reward people who think they have never needed saving.
WHAT ABOUT THE 144,000 THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT?
Some people become deeply troubled by the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 7. They wonder whether they will be among that number, whether God has excluded them, or whether there is any hope for them at all. But please, do not build your entire understanding of God's love around one passage while overlooking the wonderful truth revealed throughout His Word!
Revelation 7:4 speaks of 144,000 people coming from the 12 tribes of Israel. This is not saying only 144,000 will make it to heaven. Then, in Revelation 7:9, John sees something else:
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb...” — Revelation 7:9 (KJV)
A great multitude that no one could number!! People from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne of God and the Lamb!
What a beautiful picture of the greatness of God's redemptive plan!
We must not use this passage to tell a troubled soul that there is no hope for them. Revelation 7:9 gives us a glorious picture of a multitude beyond human counting, gathered before God's throne.
Our hope is not in figuring out whether we belong to a particular number. OUR HOPE IS IN JESUS CHRIST!
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT of works, lest any man should boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)
Salvation is God's gift of grace. We cannot earn it, and we cannot make ourselves worthy of the price Jesus paid. We come to Him as sinners who need a Savior, trusting in what HE has done for us.
And Romans 10:13 declares:
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13 (KJV)
Whosoever!
Dear friend, if you have ever thought, “I don't deserve to live,” please stop and consider this: your feelings of worthlessness do not determine your worth. Your past does not erase your value. Your struggles do not make you disposable. And your inability to see a way forward today, does not mean there is no hope for tomorrow.
You are a human being created by God, and your life has value. You do not have to earn the right to be treated with love, compassion, and dignity.
Jesus gave His life for sinners, because we needed a Savior. He did not come into this world because we were already perfect. He came because we needed Him!
If you are hurting, please do not suffer alone. Reach out to someone who will listen without judging you. You do not have to carry every burden by yourself.
And if you have been living in fear that God has no place for you, please open His Word and look at the Savior who welcomed sinners, showed compassion to the brokenhearted, and called the weary to come to Him.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
That is the invitation of Jesus!
Let us never make the wounded feel more wounded, the fearful feel more afraid, or the struggling feel that they have no reason to go on. Let us point one another to the Savior who offers hope, mercy, and the promise of eternal life to those who trust in Him.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, please reach every heart that feels forgotten, unworthy, or without hope. Let those who are struggling know that they do not have to face their pain alone. Lead them to people who will listen, care, and help them through their darkest moments. Replace fear with the truth of Your Word, and help us all understand the depth of Your mercy and the hope we have through Jesus Christ. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
FRIENDS, PLEASE REMEMBER THIS:
You are not beyond the reach of God's love. You are not beyond the reach of His mercy. And no matter how dark life may feel today, please do not mistake your present pain for the end of your story.
THERE IS HOPE. THERE IS HELP. AND YOUR LIFE MATTERS.
Never give up on the life God has given you. ❤ He is a Way Maker, Peace Maker, Promise Keeper. He promises to welcome with open arms, anyone who comes to Him and wishes to accept Him as their Lord and Savior. Never let that devil tell you any differently. He's a liar. The "Father of All Lies".
