What Believers Can Expect the Second They Cross That Threshold to Eternity
Jesus' Promise to Believers:
•We don't end in terror. We end in His arms.
•We don't end condemned by sin. We end with our sins still covered by His blood.
•The believer's life ends with God wrapping His arms around us in GRACE, not fear.
"Ends in GRACE, not fear."
That is the opposite of what our enemy wants us to believe.
Satan, The Great Deceiver and Father of Lies, John 8:44, wants us thinking: "God is mad. God is waiting to punish. God is far away." But that is not our Jesus.
1 John 4:18 — "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear..."
Perfect doesn't mean flawless behavior.
In the original context it means "mature," "complete" — love that has reached its full goal. Specifically: God's unconditional love received, and then reflected to others.
Casting out fear:
When we fully trust in God's grace and sacrifice instead of our own perfection, anxiety and the terror of judgment are driven away. They are replaced with confidence and peace.
Jesus' Love is Perfect
It is not flawed. It is not tainted with sin.
And there IS no sin in heaven.
The primary Bible verse stating that no sin or unclean thing will enter heaven:
"But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life". Revelation 21:27
2 Corinthians 6:2 — "Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
Why? Because God isn’t waiting to punish you. He’s waiting with open arms to save you. That is His utmost desire, to save you from the condemnation that sin placed on us. Today you can trust Him. Today you can rest in grace. Today. He turns no one away.
A closing prayer:
Father, thank You that the moment we cross that threshold, we meet Your arms. Thank You that our sins are covered by the blood of Jesus.
Drive out every lie, every fear, every accusation from Satan. Let us rest in Your perfect, mature love — the love that casts out fear.
We choose GRACE this day. Not fear. Not shame. Just You.
