JESUS JUST DOESN’T FORGIVE — HE HEALS
Have you ever felt that weight after you sinned? That heaviness in your chest? That voice saying you’ll never be okay again? That’s the enemy speaking, not God, trying to convince you that all is lost and you're ruined. Beloved that's a devil's lie.
But when you turn to Jesus, that weight lifting? That pain easing? That’s God's forgiveness doing its work. And none of us are so bad in Jesus' eyes that we can't be saved or forgiven. That's just another lie the devil tries to tell us.
Satan piles shame on to crush you. But Jesus lifts it off to heal you.
The phrase "no condemnation in Christ" comes from Romans 8:1 in the Bible, which states that believers face no final judgment or punishment. When they went to Jesus to invite him into their heart and life as Savior, He forgave their sins and remembered them no more. They don't have to answer for them again. Jesus' paying our debt on the cross, served for all time. He doesn't have to keep paying for our sins EVERY TIME WE SIN. He has already paid for them and forgiven them. Once on the cross, was enough!
Meaning of Absolute Verdict: God removes the guilty verdict and death sentence for believers.
Paid by Jesus: Jesus took the punishment for sin on the cross.
Secure Standing: A person's flaws do not reverse God's acceptance. Our Salvation is not dependent upon our performance. It is dependent upon God's Saving Grace on the cross!
Matthew 11:28 — "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
The Lord gave us this. When we’re obedient and bring our brokenness to Him, He doesn’t just clean us up. He uses our mess to set us free — and to set others free too. That’s how God works. He gives us brand new beginnings in Him. What the enemy means for shame, God turns it into forgiveness and a brand new life, for hundreds of people. You deserve that peace. Jesus already paid for it on the cross. This is why we keep running to Him. Because He doesn’t just forgive — He heals.
Isaiah 1:18 — "Come now, let us reason together," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
Is He better than anything else?
"Better than anything in the whole universe or any other person."
That’s the truth.
Money can’t take the guilt away.
Pleasure seeking won't cover the guilt.
People can’t.
Success can’t.
Only Jesus can take the weight of sin off and fill that spot with peace and joy.
Psalm 73:25-26 — "Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
He’s better. Every time.
And look what He did with obedience.
He used hurt to bring your healing.
He used a testimony to bring Hope.
