Eternal and Unfailing: The Unshakable Love of Christ For You
Jesus' love is often described as incomprehensible, infinite, and unconditional -- a depth that exceeds human words. This love is shown through actions... sacrificing His life for humanity, rather than just words. His love is unchanging, meeting individuals in their lowest moments, and offering a fresh start regardless of past mistakes.
The love of Jesus is not based on performance, perfection, or worthiness.
Romans 5:8 - "Christ died for us, even while we were still sinners."
This love is described as "wide and long and deep and high," with nothing capable of separating believers from it.
The joy of His love is beyond description. This immense, unconditional love, calls believers to show love to others.
Even with all of life’s winds and waves, I can honestly say that I never truly knew real “love,” until I met Jesus.
His love is unlike any other. His love is relentless, pure, and is the foundation upon which we should build our lives.
Best part...God’s love for us is not like a thermostat. It doesn’t go up a few degrees if we’re good, then go back down a few degrees, when we’re bad. In fact, Scripture says that no one can reach God's perfect standard of goodness. He doesn't expect us to but he does give us standards to protect us, not hurt us.
Even though we sin, Jeremiah 31:3 says, 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.' That means that every day of your life, you can wake up and say, 'I am fully loved by God.' And every night, you can go to bed knowing, He'll be there in your every tomorrow.
Romans 8:39, declares thatnothing in all creation - neither height, depth, nor any other power -- can separate believers from the love of God, found in Christ Jesus. It serves as an ultimate assurance of secure, unwavering, and eternal divine love, regardless of circumstances or spiritual forces.
Praying you choose to receive His love in its fullness today, friend.
