Because I know Paul's mystery of the gospel and how Jesus separated the gentiles and Jews through exclusion in Matt 10. We are saved freely as an unearned gift, through trusting in Christ s death burial and resurrection. Only Pharisees believed otherwise, as they do today. In fact they've already been consumed with pride to reprobacy.
