Jesus is our best friend, in all things, particularly when it comes to talking about things that hurts us.
Sometimes we forget that Jesus is there to talk to. We'll talk to our friends. We'll call them up when we're hurting, but we forget that we can turn to Jesus, as well. He's always waiting to fellowship with us and he particularly wants to comfort our hearts and heal our lives. He's always available to call on 24/7.
I can't tell you how much he has helped me in the very worst situations where I was really traumatized. He never failed to help me and he'll do the same for you if you will allow him to, and just reach out to him in prayer. He loves everyone the same and he welcomes everyone to come to him, no matter what they want to talk about and he will help. I can vouch for that. There's really no substitution for his help or his love. The rest is more like a paper rose compared to him --- imitation.
He's a friend for all time and he will never abandon you like some. He genuinely cares about you and what you tell him, you're not risking it, like when you might tell someone else you thought you could trust, and you ask them to keep your conversations private, but they don't. You're safe with Jesus. And most of all he understands you and knows you better than anyone ever could. He loves you so much, he knows exactly how many hairs you have on your head, and he knows exactly how many tears you have cried, because he counts them.
Not one person in this world will care for you or love you that much. But Jesus does. All the time. Being God, He never sleeps. He constantly has you in his heart and mind. Just as he did on the cross. He's just a prayer away and he's waiting for you, so he can show you his love, and comfort you.
There's never a tear that God doesn't see. There's never a moment when God doesn't care or hear your prayers. Never a second when he doesn't love you. Psalm 56:8
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Isaiah 26:3

I love keeping our eye's focused on Christ and His truths rather than the storm or our own self doubt or worst fears and the storms around us and what others are telling us that may hurt us.. Instead of all of that garbage, focus on Christ and His truths and Love and forgiveness... It takes real faith put into practice, but it get's stronger and stronger over time while looking to Him for all of the answers of what to do and love, and forgiveness! We can even cry out to Him and listen for His voice in His people for help along the way, at least that's what I do, and He answers through His people.... I do reflect upon myself and confess any sins that may need to be confessed, but I no longer condemn myself because He died to save me! Faith has been such an exciting adventure!
@BeautifulLibra Most of the time people who are listening aren't aren't listening. They may hear you, but it takes effort to listen and to understand what's being said.
If you believe in God, then you know He is listening.
